Renaissance Yeast to Launch H2S-preventing Wine Yeasts in Australia at WineTech 2015

Vancouver — Renaissance Yeast Inc. is pleased to announce it will launch its H2S-preventing yeast strains for red, white, organic and cider making in Australia and New Zealand at WineTech 2015 July 14-16 in Adelaide. The trade show is held every two years and will take place on the Adelaide Showground in Wayville, South Australia.

At WineTech, Renaissance Yeast will exhibit at Stand #27 and will have samples of wine made with the company’s H2S-preventing yeast available for tradeshow visitors to sample. The quality difference is one that winemakers can notice right away. Many wineries around the globe have been using Renaissance Yeasts with great success.

“The harmful effects of hydrogen sulfide are often dismissed as easy to treat or simply part of the normal background of wine,” said Jason Burrus of Chrysalis Vineyards in Middleburg, Virginia, who has been using Renaissance’s H2S-preventing wine yeast for his recent vintages. “However, like TCA, even when present below detection threshold, it’s still damaging to the wine. These wine yeasts simply eliminate the threat from the beginning.”
